Not the phase to do that already!

With reading the article carefully, I had a feeling that it’s another nonsense issue. Although the pairs and Savage aimed to raise the public awareness about plastic debris and pollution in the ocean through their trip, it seems that more people would like to take the news as another human heroic undertaking in a short time, rather than understand the real meaning of the action itself. That makes the whole hard process as a meaningless work.

I believe that after reading the news about their activity, many people would live as before and never think they would make some changes about their bad habits simply because there were three men crossing the Pacific on a raft of plastic trash and meeting a dozens of difficulties. The three men just raised an old but still unsettled completely question to the public without giving a useful solution to them. Most people will take an attitude that “It’s none of my business. And if you want to forbid us to using plastic, please tell us what we can do?”It’s a realistic question we should concern most about.

With a series of serious social and environmental problems around us, we have already got awareness of our responsibility to the whole world and human beings, but what we should do and what lifestyle we had better take is a confusing issue. In other words, setting up a stage for us to let us know what we should do in the future is the key point of the problem.
